A GUIDE TO FINDING THE PERFECT JEANS: A NECESSITY OF LIFE

Finding the right pair of jeans is like finding a needle in a haystack. And if you have found "the pair" already, well then my friend, you have succeeded in life. And if you have not, then let's join the hunt and I hope by the time you are done reading the article, you come one step closer to possessing them. Now, you might think I am exaggerating a bit, well then mister, you are wrong. Cause you have no idea how hard it is to wait in the long line of the damn trial room with your arms carrying 10 pairs of jeans and your brain, a shitload of expectations.

WIDE JEANS

Now most of us were not born in the 90s. But we had heard about it, watched it being portrayed in shows, movies and even read about it. We did want to live it, some way or the other. Perhaps that is the reason why most of us lost our minds over the 90s fashion that suddenly came to life. And wide Jeans were perhaps the pair most swooned over. And I don't blame y'all. Heck, I wear them every day. If you are looking for something sweat-friendly, skinny jeans unfriendly, then this is the pair for you. The divine feeling of the cool breeze on your calves is one of its side effects. Need I say more?

STRAIGHT JEANS

Now, we all have bad days. And some of them lead us to not exactly feeling like experimenting with clothes. We need something somber yet sophisticated. Then let me tell you, straight Jeans are something you can put on. It holds something of a middle ground between skinny and slouch Jeans. They tend to give a professional look to even the most casual fits and professionalism is something I tend to lack, so there we go. People tend to think we worked hard on our looks when all we did was open a bag of chips. Cause sometimes that's all we are capable of doing. Opening a bag of chips.

MOM JEANS

Perhaps Mom jeans earned the award of being the most crouch-friendly and trendy jeans. I mean it is literally perfect. Mom jeans have perfectly balanced looseness from the thighs till the calf area .. and are distinguished from the wide jeans type at the same time. Perhaps the reason why it's trending is that not everyone wants a piece of denim stuck to their butt cheeks to keep it defined at all times nor does one want denim to droop from their buttcheeks at the same time. And mom jeans offer none of that.

BALLOON JEANS

Chaotic, unique, fun, and hilarious come to my mind whenever I look at that pair. I think of them as an exaggerated, fugly version of the loose-fit mom jeans. Wearing a pair of balloon jeans feels scandalous in a really cool way. Just like the 90s. It may perhaps be the most interesting and experimental pair of all, for it is really hard to gather the guts to wear them, and even harder, to pull them off. But once you do pull them off, it will be a sight to see.

I may end up looking like a balloon if I wear them, but at least I will look like a fashionable balloon.
