WHAT ARE SOME FASHION - GOD APPROVED ICONS AND SHOWS LIVING UP TO OUR EXPECTATIONS?

Updated: Aug 30, 2021

Are you running out of clothes to wear? Are you done balling your eyes out scrolling through 'top 10 outfit ideas' from Pinterest? Don't worry, for here I come. Not to your rescue, but to grieve with you, over how the heck am I losing every ounce of hope as soon as I open my goddamn cupboard. So, let us all dimwits gather here to speak our minds out ( no weird fetish allowed ) over some humans who can lift us from our misery. Cause what could possibly go wrong?

Now, I am not a very pleasant person. But you already got that. But if there is someone who can make me laugh my fat arse off and be my fashion inspiration, it is The Queen of Aesthetic Fashion - Bestdressed aka Ashley.

I love her cause (1) She is Ashley (2) She is Ashley (3) She is Effing Ashley. Anyway, wildest dreams (Ahem ) apart, I thought of diving into the fashion world of some movies and shows worth blabbering about.

Besides the exceptional display of summer dresses from La La Land or the fast fashion collection in Euphoria, I thought of bringing in some underrated fashion moments from a few movies and shows. First of all, who doesn't love a female assassin/ psychopath with her taste

' Chic as Shit '. Her name is Oksana or as she likes to be called Villanelle portrayed by Jodie Comer in Killing Eve. It will be an honor to be slayed by someone with a taste as unique as hers .

There is something about Fleabag 's closely placed curls and the bold red lipstick paired with those pinstripes which makes her character imperfectly perfect .

Going back a few years, and by that I mean more than a century, brings us to Downton Abbey and it's an exhibit of flattering ladylike attire like no other. Bejeweled, blood red, and totally impractical, just like us.

And how can I end today's read without presenting the special honors to the Matrix? Draped in some loud, lustrous leather, gives us yet another reason to reminisce over the 90s and fulfill our Sci-fi craze.

My Matrix obsession may end up with me looking like a roach with shades, but at least I will look like a fashionable roach.
